Hi, my name is Dr. David Che. I'm assuming you're visiting this website because
you're interested in finding a dentist. Not just another dentist, but someone you
can really trust to take care of your dental needs. You've probably seen many ads
for other dental offices and wondering what makes our office any different. Before
I explain, let me ask you two important questions. First:
“Do you remember how it was going to the dentist years ago?”
I'm not talking about last year or the year before that. I'm talking maybe 15 to
20 years back. You would go to your solo family dentist, his front desk would greet
you, you'd get a cleaning/checkup, and he'd fix any problems you had. If you wanted
to have any other type of work done(e.g. cosmetics), your dentist would go over
that with you. It was a one on one and personable experience. Seemed great right?
So now let me ask you the second question.
“Have you noticed the present day dental situation?”
Everywhere you look, it seems like there is a 'franchise' dental office around the
corner. You're not sure so you check it out. Inside, you find there is not one,
but many different doctors there. You just want a basic checkup and cleaning for
the time being. Instead you're handed a treatment plan for thousands of dollars
listing various treatments that you're not sure are all necessary. Or maybe you've
simply opened up the phone book to find a dentist to have some basic dental needs
addressed before doing cosmetics. But all you see are ads that seem to put cosmetic
dentistry as first priority. It seems every ad has something about cosmetic dentistry
and the costly 'smile makeover'. You go to these offices seeking basic treatment
only to find that since they are geared mostly towards cosmetics, they have to refer
you to at least three different specialist dentists all over town for just some
basic dental services. So now, after I've asked you these two questions, you're
probably going to ask yourself this question:
“Are there any offices that still practice dentistry like it was years ago?”
I answer with an emphatic 'yes!' because we are one of them. I realize there appears
to be a lack of dentists who are practicing like it was years ago. Everyone these
days seems to want to go the cosmetic route and leave everything else to the specialists.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not down talking cosmetic dentistry in any way here.
I think advances in dentistry have made it possible to achieve cosmetics unheard
of before. What I am saying is, if you're looking to find a traditional general
family dentist that can address your basic dental needs while STILL offering you
all the other popular options(e.g. cosmetics, whitening), then seriously consider
our practice.
